Hello fellow rangers,
My name is Jesse Colangelo, I am a fourth generation Iron Ranger.
My Great grandparents were Joseph and Josephine Colangelo of Biwabik.
My paternal grandfather Frank Colangelo grew up in Biwabik where he met his wife Evelyn Hill, they married and raised their six children in Mountain Iron. Frank served the US Army in World War II, he supported his family by working at Minntac.
My maternal grandfather Russell Olson grew up in Sebeka where he met his wife Delores Ollila of Menahga, they married and raised their five children in West Virginia. Later Russell remarried Dorothy Kilpela-Kessanen who also had five children. Russell served the US Air Force in World War II, he supported his family by working at Erie Mining in Hoyt Lakes.
My Father Gene Colangelo graduated Mountain Iron High School in 1969 where he met my mother Susan Olson who later graduated from Virginia High School in 1971, they married in 1971, after Gene served the US Army in Vietnam. They raised my Older brother Nick and myself in Virginia. In 1976 my father died and my mother moved us to the cities where she could find work to support us.
In 1980 my mother remarried Curtis Lindberg and we all moved back to Virginia. In 1985 we moved to Maple Grove. I graduated Irondale High School in New Brighton, MN. In 1999 I married and had a wonderful daughter Lauren. I was divorced in 2003 and moved to Eveleth in 2004. I attended Hibbing Community College and graduated from their R.N. program in 2007. Since becoming an R.N. I have enjoyed serving thousands of patients and their families during their time of need.
I am running for the MN House Of Representatives District 6B because the people of Minnesota deserve better. The people of the Iron Range deserve better.
For too long have partisan politics divided our state and our people.
It’s time to come together and get things done in St. Paul.
It’s time to elect officials who care about the people they represent.
It’s time to elect officials who will protect the middle class.
It’s time to elect officials who will protect the futures of our children.
THE TIME HAS COME TO BALANCE THE BUDGET AND PAY BACK OUR CHILDREN.
